Polden Bower School hosted a collective of artists for their INSET to promote staff well-being.
This collective included SPAEDA artists Lucia Harley, James Lake and Lisa Robertson. Working across the disciplines of clay and casting, cardboard sculpture and printmaking respectively, the key objective for the day was to provide staff teams from Polden Bower and Avalon Special School with the opportunity to not only take part in arts activities for their own wellbeing, but also to discover practice to take back to their classrooms and share with their students.
It was a day full of positivity, with many smiling faces leaving our workshops, clutching new creations with pride and buzzing with ideas to develop from their newfound skills.
