Our creative workshops and networking events at Wick are setup to support the well-being and continued professional development of educators, arts teachers and artist teachers.

We want to inspire you, build your skills and confidence and give you the space to reconnect with your creativity.

Overview:

Come and join us at Wick Farm for a day of Raku Firing! In this workshop you'll gain an understanding of the Japanese art of Raku and learn this pottery technique firsthand, led by Andy Glass.

During this workshop you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in Raku pottery
  • Learn about the firing process and glazing techniques
  • Create x2 of your own Raku masterpieces to take home
  • Receive guidance and tips from skilled instructors

All materials and equipment will be provided, included in cost.

This workshop runs twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. You can chose to attend the morning or afternoon, or even both if you want to make more pottery to take home. Please be aware that both workshops are the same.

Morning:

This workshop runs from 10am - 1pm, with the option to stay on for lunch after the session. Some refreshments will be available however please make sure to bring your own lunch or food to share.

Afternoon: 

This workshop runs from 2pm - 5pm, with the option to join for lunch at 1pm, before the session starts. Some refreshments will be available however please make sure to bring your own lunch or food to share.
